I did not want a black suitcase! Really lightweight and holds a lot even though it is a carry on size. I checked it because I had a short connection time, and I thought dragging a suitcase would slow me down. Huge mistake! It was list, and I did not receive it until 6 weeks after I got home!!! I COULD have checked it, it acccomodated everything I needed for the week in France.This is a perfect size for travel! Plenty of room and very sturdy. The spinner wheel system on this bag is really nice and seems stable. A very nice bag!It was slightly smaller than I anticipated, but the style, and build is excellent. Great product.The top handle broke after only the 4th use. It claims it's got a 66 lb. weight limit, and it was only 44 lbs., but the handle broke anyway. Not convenient when I'm having to lift it onto and off of trains, subways, taxis, etc. Very disappointed.I am a Vera Bradley fanatic so when I could finally complete my set with a piece of luggage, I was ecstatic. I have the travel backpack so it goes perfectly with the slotted handle. Other suitcases will tip with the backpack on top (so it was nice to have a ‘stable’ bag)I went from NY to Colorado with my brand new suitcase and by the time I got to the hotel in Colorado the handle on top was broken with a screw openly displayed (figured this out while getting out of the Uber) I had to make a trip to a JC Penny where I bought a piece of luggage the same price. THANK GOD I BROUGHT MY CREDIT CARD.The handle broke the first time I used it on my way to Mexico. It made traveling much more difficult for the remainder of my trip. It was within days of the return policy, so I called customer service. They apologized and sent me a replacement, which arrived before I got home from vacation in March. Fast forward to this week, the first chance I get to use the replacement bag and the handle broke in the same exact way.All I had in the suitcase was a very fluffly bathrobe and a pillow.As I'm reading other reviews, this is a very common problem. This is NOT a defective item, it's a defective batch of items. Vera Bradley should do a recall of all those in that lot. I paid $200 for this small bag and twice it has caused so much grief.Do better Vera Bradley.I have not used it yet. This is just what I wanted. Zippers work well and the wheels move with no problem!!This is a roomy, nice piece of luggage. I gave it 3stars because the top handle (not the pull out bar) came unattached after only 3 trips.My husband was able to jury rig a bolt and screw n the inside of the luggage to fix the issue.
