Once I was able to set the code, using them is easy.I needed a lock to use when I had to go to a public pool for Physical Therapy. It's a little tricky at first to set the new combination and I thought it was a defective lock. I think the instructions said to push down on the lock while you have it at a right angle to the body of the lock. On my lock I didn't need to press down as per instructions. Once you get the hang of it it works fine.Easy to use and set the combination. Not going to stop someone who is determined, but it’s heavy and sturdy enough to use on a gym locker.Does the job and inexpensive! Set my own code!Perfect for gym day lockers. Dials are smooth and the color looks great (silver).My daughter needed a padlock for her school locker and this is perfect. The four digit code works well and we had no trouble changing the code to our own number. Very pleased.Case body a bit 'loose' but wouldn't come off or anything.
